All NG-Lights devices are designed and manufactured in Finland. The buoy light housing is made of solid aluminium.

Smart buoy lights feature GPS synchronisation, which ensures they all flash simultaneously. Another useful GPS feature is the "Find buoy light" function, which starts continuous positioning.

The buoy light is powered by a rechargeable or replaceable battery placed inside the buoy. The device’s electronics are designed to minimise power consumption. Modern radio technology, high-efficiency LEDs and automatic dusk switching ensure long battery life.
